In an effort to ensure everyone who wants to vote during the pandemic can safely do so, Massachusetts state law has been changed for the 2020 Primary and General Elections. Vote-by-Mail applications were recently mailed to every registered voter. If you wish to vote by mail you must return the application to your local election office no later than 4 business days before the September 1st Primary Election. For you to get a ballot, your application must reach your local election office no later than August 26. You must be registered to vote to receive an application.
If you wish to vote in person on September 1, you may still do so at your local polling location.
