In 2008, city councilors Mike Brady and Robert Sullivan ran against each other in a primary to fill the seat in the state House of Representative that was left vacant by Democrat Thomas Kennedy, who moved up to the state Senate that fall after 25 years in the House.
State Representative Michael Brady is a candidate for the State Senate in the 2nd Bristol and Plymouth District, which includes Brockton, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Plympton and Whitman as well as three precincts in East Bridgewater and two precincts in Easton.
As a life-long resident of the District, Mike has always been known for his hard work, dedication and service to our Community. He has been driven to serve his community from an early age. Mike is well known for working in a bi-partisan collaborative manner to get results. “Mike Brady Works” is a common theme amongst constituents, as well as colleagues.
